Down Syndrome International (DSi) and the Down’s Syndrome Association (DSA) were delighted to host the second Damon Hill Golf Classic on Thursday 28 September 2017. This year the event was held at East Devon Golf Club, Budleigh Salterton, UK.
Damon Hill OBE, who is a patron of both charities and has a son with Down syndrome, played golf with our guests and hosted an intimate evening dinner and auctions. We also had Damon’s 1996 winning Formula 1 Williams car on display.
Over £11,000 was raised, to be shared between DSi and DSA.
A huge thank you to everyone who came along and helped support the day and also to all those who sponsored the event, including Michael Caines MBE, Lympstone Manor and Ted Baker.
We are also grateful to all the companies that sponsored holes: The Exeter, Greenthumb, The Elizabethan Inn, Geo.Me, Premier Power Products and Chatham Shoes.
