Announcing the next World Down Syndrome Congress in 2027

We are excited to announce that the next World Down Syndrome Congress will be held in Buenos Aires, Argentina in May 2027.

The Congress will be hosted by Asociación Iberoamericana de Síndrome de Down and Asociación Síndrome de Down de la República Argentina, with Down Syndrome International.

The theme of this Congress will be ‘Protagonists of our lives’.

The purpose, to banish myths and show people with Down syndrome for who they are: legal subjects who must have tools to be included in early care, family, health, employment, independent living and dignified ageing.
