It's a human right!

People with Down syndrome have the right to …

We know ...

So, the DSi network advocates for ...

What is an inclusive community?

Everyone should …

For people with Down syndrome this can be achieved if:

This is also true of every person who currently faces barriers to inclusion.

Discover the other key issues that we advocate for:

Inclusive organisations

We believe everyone should have a say in decisions that affect them.

The problem is many people with intellectual disabilities are not included in a meaningful way. This is not fair.

Inclusive health

Everyone has the right to good healthcare. This means no one should be treated unfairly because of who they are.

People with Down syndrome do not always get the healthcare they need. This is not fair.

Inclusive education

Every child has the right to a good education.

Many children with Down syndrome do not get the education they need to have a good life. This is not fair.

Inclusive employment

We advocate for everyone to have access to employment in open, inclusive and accessible workplaces.

Our strategy.

Our strategy guides everything that we do to achieve our vision of a better world where all people with Down syndrome are fully included in society.
